As a matter of fact, Murkowski is already on record, as quoted in Politico, that Sarah Palin is no leader.
Ego driven and ambitious women like Palin (who also happens to be camera friendly) were aptly described by philosophers as far back as the Greeks, but this description by Boethius seems to sum it all up nicely, it could easily be titled "ode to Sarah"...
Like currents in a treacherous bay swept to and fro:
Her ruthless will has just deposed once fearful kings
While trustless still, from low she lifts a conquered head;
No cries of misery she hears, no tears she heeds,
But steely hearted laughs at groans her deeds have wrung.
Such is a game she plays, and so she tests her strength;
Of mighty power she makes parade when one short hour

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Alaska's most high-profile Republican, 2008 vice presidential candidate (...with domineering hand....) and former Gov. Sarah Palin, says she considered (....like currents in a treacherous bay...) running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Democratic Sen. Mark Begich, but she would like to see new candidates enter the race.
Responding to Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity, Palin said Tuesday she's considered a run because people asked her to. (...no cries of misery she hears....)
She added, she's waiting to see who else will enter the race and hoping there "will be some new blood, new energy" from the GOP candidate pool. (....such is a game she plays....)
Alaska Republicans have two candidates so far for the 2014 race: Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell and Joe Miller. Miller won the 2010 GOP primary against Sen. Lisa Murkowski only to lose to her in the general election as she mounted a historic write-in campaign.
So, to Alaska women out there who read this blog - seems like your future is in the balance if Senator Palin should ever, (....groans her deeds have wrung...) uses a Senate seat, taking tax payer money, to vote counter to the good Senator Murkowski.
Fate launched Sarah Palin into the 2008 political limelight but her unbridled ego will eventually darken her star. Meanwhile, she creates buzz just by being Sarah Palin; she holds the trump card, the big "c" of charisma. Nevertheless, let's never allow Palin's political ego to become so artificially inflated to the point where she believes herself to be a US Senator.
